Life on Paros has a way of clarifying things. In the light of the Aegean, distractions fall away and what remains are the essentials. The Paros Story Studio was founded with this same spirit in mind: the belief that storytelling, for all its richness and variety, rests on a small number of principles that can be understood clearly and practiced with intention.

The studio’s courses approach storytelling in a way that is practical, thoughtful, and easy to grasp, giving writers the tools to explore their ideas and develop their craft. In doing so, the studio invites writers to move beyond common misconceptions and focus on what matters most: how to contribute their own perspectives to the ongoing conversation that story makes possible.

The studio welcomes writers of all genres and levels of experience—those just beginning to explore the craft as well as those who have been thinking about story for years. Some will arrive with only an idea, others with pages already written, but all share the same desire: to better understand how stories work and move closer to the stories they feel drawn to tell.
